At Adventure Building Camp we set up our workshop under the open iron beams of a former sawmill and leave for the day dreaming about what we'll build tomorrow. With access to some of the best junk a kid could dream of (tires, construction debris, scrap wood, etc.) and a full workshop, we'll commence working on our adventure building project of the week. We'll travel by bike to the nearby Dead River and sandpit to test our hand-built creations, and if it gets too hot to work, well, it's time for a swim break.

Adventure Beach Camp is an English language, week-long, overnight camp which takes place on the shores of Yumigahama Beach. Campers immerse themselves in nature, build, tinker, swim and even surf. Activities include: (but are not limited to) foraging for seaweed, building rafts and traps, constructing elaborate beach-side marble runs and bamboo luge routes for our somen noodles, tide-pooling, coastal hiking and surf lessons. From starfish to incredible starry nights, this experience is what "tween" dreams are made of.
